As The Children’s Art Carnival renews its role as a center for the arts and arts education, it is updating its program and services in the context of a changing Harlem community. As a center for arts exploration and creativity, CAC seeks to develop a new track of arts service provision that places the individual artist at the center of its work. Our new model is designed to support and nurture the development of emerging, mid-career and established artists as key to the development of its educational, outreach and workshop offerings in the future. The establishment of these programs represent the first steps in this effort.

Call for Artists

The Salon @ CAC is a monthly gathering bringing together emerging and established artists of different disciplines to share their work and receive feedback in an empathetic and supportive environment. Each event features a guest speaker and an arts professional who will share their work, answer questions and facilitate the day.

The schedule will be updated for Fall 2022
